Civita Castellana is een gemeente in de Italiaanse provincie Viterbo en telt 16.072 inwoners . De oppervlakte bedraagt 83,3 km², de bevolkingsdichtheid is 182,74 inwoners per km².
De huidige plaats is in de middeleeuwen ontstaan, maar in de oudheid lag hier de belangrijke Etruskische stad Falerii, die in 241 v.Chr. door de Romeinen werd veroverd. Het terrein van Falerii Veteres vormt een belangrijke archeologische vindplaats.
