Als je een kunstliefhebber bent, dan zou je zeker graag een vergadering in Firenze bijgewoond hebben in 1504: de beroemde bijeenkomst op 25 januari 1504, gekoppeld aan het standbeeld van David. De vraag was: "Waar moeten we Michelangelo's David plaatsen?". De meeting is zo beroemd omdat zoveel belangrijke mensen die bijeenkomst bijwoonden. De bekendste artiesten van de renaissance besproken die kwestie op die dag, waaronder Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Bottocelli, Rosselli, Filippino Lippi en Piero di Cosimo. De vergadering vond plaats op enkele meters van de huidige Uffizi Gallery.
