Aalsmeer ) is een plaats en gemeente in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Holland. De gemeente telt 32.480 inwoners en heeft een totale oppervlakte van 32,29 km², waarvan 20,12 km² land en 12,17 km² water . De gemeente Aalsmeer omvat het dorp Aalsmeer, dat aan de Ringvaart van de Haarlemmermeerpolder ligt, en de gehuchten/dorpen Calslagen, Kudelstaart, Oosteinde en Vrouwentroost. De gemeente maakt deel uit van de plusregio Stadsregio Amsterdam. Een inwoner van Aalsmeer wordt een Aalsmeerder genoemd.
