Eijsden-Margraten is een gemeente in het zuiden van de Nederlandse provincie Limburg. De overwegend landelijk gelegen gemeente heeft per 31 januari 2022 een inwoneraantal van 25.855 op een oppervlakte van 77,4 km².Eijsden-Margraten maakt deel uit van het Zuid-Limburgse Heuvelland. Het oostelijk deel van de gemeente hoort landschappelijk tevens bij het Mergelland; het westelijk deel bij het Maasdal. In het Maasdal liggen onder andere de dorpen Eijsden, Oost-Maarland en Gronsveld. Bij Eijsden stroomt de rivier de Maas Nederland binnen. Iets verderop mondt het overwegend op Belgisch grondgebied stromende riviertje de Voer uit in de Maas.
