Binz és un municipi que pertany al districte de Vorpommern-Rügen a l'estat de Mecklemburg-Pomerània Occidental a la costa nord-est d'Alemanya. El 31 de desembre de 2010 tenia 5407 habitants.
Està situat a la punta oriental de l'illa de Rügen, entre el llac del Schmachter See, el bodden petit de Jasmund, el Mar Bàltic i el massís de Granitz . El riu Ahlbek que connecta el llac de Schmacht amb el Mar Bàltic va ser entubat el 1950.
