Oosterzele er en by og kommune i den belgiske provins Oost-Vlaanderen. Kommunen har over 13.000 indbyggere, som kaldes Oosterzelenaars. Den ældste omtale af Oosterzele er fra slutningen af det 9. århundrede, som Ostresela. I 1042 blev der nævnt Ostresele. Det vil have relation til et fornemt hus, der lå mod øst.
