På Georges-Jozef Imschootpladsen ligger den kommunale kultur- og fritidssal Guldepoort.
Centralt på pladsen står også en farverig betonstruktur designet af kunstneren Roger Raveel. En lignende konstruktion står også ved indgangen til krydset mellem N43 og Dorpsstraat samt ved Roger Raveelmuseum.
På siden af pladsen står et digt af den hollandske digter-forfatter Gerard Reve. Gerard Kornelis van het Reve boede fra 1993 til sin død i 2006 i Machelen-aan-de-Leie. Hans digt "Credo" fra 1968 blev integreret i et kunstværk i bly. Denne fem meter lange mur står på siden af Georges-Jozef Imschootpladsen. Bag denne ligger haven til Villa ter Ide og atelieret for kunstneren Martin Wallaert.
