Limbach er en bykommune i Westerwaldkreis i Rheinland-Pfalz. Den landbrugsstrukturerede boligkommune tilhører Hachenburg distrikt. Limbach er anerkendt som et statsanerkendt ferieområde.
Stedet ligger i 250 m højde i Westerwald mellem Limburg an der Lahn og Siegen, seks kilometer fra Hachenburg i dalen ved Kleine Nister i natur- og landskabsbeskyttelsesområdet Kroppacher Schweiz, lige ved den lange vandrerute Westerwaldsteig. Nabobyerne er Heimborn mod vest, Atzelgift mod øst, Astert mod syd og Heuzert mod sydvest for stedet. Mod syd ligger Aßberg.
