Lichtenstein er en kommune i Baden-Württemberg med 9190 indbyggere. Den tilhører regionen Neckar-Alb og tilrandzonen af den europæiske storbyregion Stuttgart. Den ligger ved Albtrauf, den stejlt faldende nordrand af den mellemsvabiske Alb, cirka ti kilometer syd for krejsbyen Reutlingen. Sædet for kommunens administration er bydelen Unterhausen. Lichtenstein er med 7,3 % af sin markermarkering en del af biosfæreområdet Schwäbische Alb. Kommunens navn er afledt af dens mest kendte vartegn, slottet Lichtenstein, der ligger på en klippeskråning ved Albrand over den vestlige skråning af den øvre Echazdal.
