Borgen Brotterode er en forladt højmiddelalderlig befæstning på en bjergspids, der strækker sig mod syd ind i dalen ved Brotterode i Landkreis Schmalkalden-Meiningen i Thüringer Wald.
Borgens placering ligger i den vestlige del af byen på Borgbjerget ved 591 m over havets overflade. Det kan hurtigt nås derfra ad markerede stier. Terrænet strækker sig i topplacering under skov.
