Bessines er en fransk kommune med 1.721 indbyggere i departementet Deux-Sèvres i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Den tilhører arrondissementet Niort og kantonen Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan. Indbyggerne kaldes Bessinois. Bessines ligger i landskabet Saintonge ved kanten af Marais Poitevin. Mod syd løber floden Guirande forbi kommunen. Kommunens område ligger i den regionale naturpark Marais Poitevin. Bessines er omkranset af nabokommunerne Niort mod nord og øst, Saint-Symphorien mod sydøst, Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan mod syd samt Magnè mod vest. En tidligere nationalrute 11 går gennem kommunen.
