Obersteinbach er en fransk kommune med 231 indbyggere i kantonen Reichshoffen i departementet Bas-Rhin i den europæiske del af Alsace og i regionen Grand Est. Den er en del af naturparken Nordvogesen.
Obersteinbach ligger på nordkanten af Alsace, cirka fem kilometer øst for grænsen til Lothringen i dalen af Steinbaches, en biflod til Sauer. Den er omgivet af skovene og buntsandstensklipperne i Nordvogesen. Denne landskabsformation danner en enhed med den sydlige Pfälzerwald på den tyske side og kaldes også Wasgau.
