Cheddar er en stor landsby og civil parish i Sedgemoor-distriktet i det engelske grevskab Somerset. Det ligger på den sydlige kant af Mendip Hills, 9 miles nordvest for Wells, 11 miles sydøst for Weston-super-Mare og 18 miles sydvest for Bristol. Den civile parish inkluderer landsbyerne Nyland og Bradley Cross. Parishen havde en befolkning på 5.755 i 2011 og et areal på 8.592 acres i 1961.
