Den gamle Monte di Pietà, Oratoriet for det Hellige Sakramente og Kirken for de Hellige Sjæle i Skærsilden har udsigt over sletten.
På støttemuren foran Monte di Pietà er der fire stenskulpturer af helgenerne: den salige Giovanni Liccio, Santa Rosalia, San Nicasio Martyr og San Teotista, værker tilskrevet skulptøren Giuseppe Ponti siden 1682.
I midten af pladsen står en søjle af sten kronet med et kors, kendt som Pilaren af Pilota, til hvilken de ikke-heretiske syndere var bundet under inkvisitionsperioden.
