Die Sint-Leonarduskirche in Zoutleeuw (13. - 16. Jahrhundert) wurde als Ersatz für eine romanische Kapelle erbaut, die 1125 von Benediktinern aus Vlierbeek errichtet wurde. Der größte Teil ist im gotischen Stil erbaut, die ältesten Teile sind romanisch (Fenster in der Westfassade). Die beiden Türme sind über eine Galerie miteinander verbunden.
Der elegante Kreuzturm enthält ein Glockenspiel mit 24 Glocken. Diese Kirche mit ihren Türmen gehört seit 1999 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.
Die Kirche entkam der Bildersturm. Auch die Französische Revolution überstand sie nahezu unbeschadet, da drei Kanonikern den Treueeid gegenüber dem französischen Regime ablegten. Sie wird auch als das Reliquiar von Brabant bezeichnet.
