Die teils aus Backsteinen, teils aus behauenen Steinen gebaute Kirche wurde 1585 errichtet.
Es handelt sich um einen gotischen Bau, der 1980 und 1990 wesentlich umgeformt wurde.
Über der Eingangstür sieht man außen ein Relief im Renaissancestil, auf dem der Heilige Martin abgebildet ist, wie er seinen Mantel teilt.
Im Inneren vermitteln die Chorapsis, das proportioniert gestaltete Schiff und die Leuchtkraft des Ganzen einen schönen Eindruck von Intimität.
Man beachte das „Triptychon“ und am Fuße der Predigtkanzel das „mystische Delta“ von Ende des 18. Jh., ein Symbol der göttlichen Barmherzigkeit.
