Gemeinde entstand 1909, und wurde um eine Notkirche gebaut. Die definitive Kirche von Heilig-Hart wurde auf der Initiative von Pastor Leys errichtet, an die Kreuzung von der Vesten und der Aarschotsestenweg. Der Erstesteinlegung, hauptsächlich durch Kardinal Van Roey, fand am 15. Mai 1939 statt. Am 14. April 1940 wurde die dreischiffige Ziegelsteine Kirche für Öffentlichkeit geöffnet. Die ernste Widmung fand 7. und 8. Oktober 1951 statt.
In 2009 feierte die Gemeinde sein 100-järiges Bestehen mit der Modernisierung des Harmonie und des Organs und Erwerb der Abbildung „ Willkommene Jesus Christus“. Dieses steht vorne in der Kirche, mit dem guten Schäferhund und den Wandanstrichen von Yvan Struys
