Marie-Louise liegt oben auf dem Musikberg. Die Flämischen Ardennen zeigen sich hier von ihrer schönsten Seite. Wir folgen eine Zeit lang dem GR-Weg in Richtung Taaienberg, biegen dann zur Bossenaeremolen ab, passieren das stimmungsvolle Kerkem, queren ein liebliches Nebenertal der Molenbeek und kehren parallel zum Bos Ter Rijst zurück nach Süden. Dort folgen wir westwärts der herrlich ruhigen Grenze zwischen Flandern und Wallonien in Richtung Breucq. Vorbei an der Kapelle von Loreto erklimmen wir den steilen Südhang des Musikbergs und schließen mit einem Streifen unverfälschtem Buchenwald ab.
