Das Kornhaus war ein 1616 bis 1619 erbautes und 1897 abgebrochenes Lagerhaus in der Schweizer Stadt Zürich. Das Reiterdenkmal des Bürgermeisters Hans Waldmann markiert seinen ehemaligen Standort am linken Ufer der Limmat, in unmittelbarer Nähe des Fraumünsters.
Wie in anderen Städten unterlag auch in Zürich der Kornhandel strengen Bedingungen. Alles in der Stadt eingeführte Getreide musste auf einem zentralen Markt im Kornhaus verkauft werden. Dieser Markt war für die städtischen Behörden eine wichtige Einnahmequelle: Der Verkäufer hatte für eingelagerte Waren eine Miete zu entrichten und musste von jedem Malter Getreide, das er verkaufte, eine Umsatzsteuer bezahlen.
