Bordesholm ist eine Gemeinde des Amtes Bordesholm im Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein.
Bordesholm liegt zwischen Kiel und Neumünster. Der Name bedeutet „am Ufer der Insel“. In nord-südlicher Richtung führt die L 318 durch den Ort. Im Norden führt die L 49 an Bordesholm entlang. Im Südwesten von Bordesholm befindet sich der ca. 70 ha große und bis zu 8 m tiefe Bordesholmer See.
