Beverungen [ˈbeːvərʊŋən] ist eine Stadt im Kreis Höxter im Osten von Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland, und liegt am Dreiländereck NRW-Niedersachsen-Hessen. In Beverungen, das sich auf etwa 98 km² Fläche erstreckt, leben rund 13.000 Einwohner.
Beverungen liegt am östlichen Rand von Ostwestfalen im Südteil des Weserberglandes auf der dem Solling gegenüberliegenden Seite der Weser, die hiesig als Grenzfluss von Nordrhein-Westfalen und Südniedersachsen verläuft und in die am südlichen Ortsrand die von Südwesten kommende Bever einmündet. Nach Teillandschaften hat die Stadt mit ihren östlichen, in Flussnähe befindlichen Ortschaften Anteil an der Holzmindener Wesertalung mit dem höhergelegenen Oberwälder Land im Westen.
