Rodewald ist eine Gemeinde in der Samtgemeinde Steimbke im Landkreis Nienburg/Weser in Niedersachsen. Die landwirtschaftlich geprägte Gemeinde ist unterteilt in die drei Bauerschaften mit Namen Obere, Mittlere und Untere Bauerschaft . Am 1. April 1969 entstand aus den drei politischen Gemeinden Rodewalds die Einheitsgemeinde Rodewald. Bis zur Landkreisreform im Jahre 1974 war Rodewald Teil des Landkreises Neustadt am Rübenberge, seitdem gehört die Gemeinde zum Landkreis Nienburg/Weser.
