Groß-Bieberau ist eine Stadt im südhessischen Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg am Nordrand des Odenwalds.
Im Jahre 787 wurde Groß-Bieberau erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Seit 1312 hat Groß-Bieberau Stadtrechte. Im Mittelalter bestand hier eine der 30 Wildhuben des Wildbannes Dreieich, welchem auch die umliegenden Wälder angehörten.
