Bad Bodenteich ist ein Flecken in der Lüneburger Heide im Landkreis Uelzen, Niedersachsen . Die Samtgemeinde Bodenteich hatte dort bis zu ihrer am 31. Oktober 2011 erfolgten Auflösung den Verwaltungssitz. Seither gehört die Gemeinde zur Samtgemeinde Aue mit Sitz in Wrestedt. Diese unterhält in der Burg Bodenteich ein Bürgerbüro.
Nachbargemeinden von Bad Bodenteich sind Wrestedt, Soltendieck und Lüder. Zudem grenzt Bad Bodenteich an Sachsen-Anhalt.
