Der Flugplatz mit dem Namen Flughafen Barth ist ein Regionalflughafen im Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen und liegt auf den Gemarkungen von Barth und Divitz-Spoldershagen. Er ist als Verkehrsflughafen klassifiziert, für Luftfahrzeuge bis 5,7 t und sowohl für VFR als auch IFR zugelassen. Seit Februar 2017 ist der IFR Betrieb per NOTAM eingeschränkt .
Die Betreibergesellschaft Ostseeflughafen Stralsund-Barth GmbH, in der der Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, die Stadt Barth und die Stadt Stralsund vertreten sind, verwendet den Namen Ostseeflughafen Stralsund-Barth für den Flughafen.
