Tageswanderung von Vogelsang hinunter zur Urftseebrücke und wieder hinauf über die Dreiborner Hochfläche zum Ausgangspunkt. Start ist Burg "Vogelsang". Nach kurzem Besuch des Geländes geht es bergab Richtung Urftseebrücke. Am Stausee entlang gelangt man dann zur Urftstaumauer. Hier kann eine Pause eingelegt werden. Dies ist auch nötig. Denn danach geht es steil bergan auf die Dreiborner Hochfläche. Die Anstrengung lohnt sich, da man hier mit herrlichen Panoramablicken verwöhnt wird. Schönste Jahreszeit Frühjahr bis Herbst.

Die Streckenführung entspricht der Bird Watching Runde des Nationalpark Eifel
