Erlangen ist eine süddeutsche Stadt und liegt etwa 17 Kilometer nördlich von Nurenberg. Nach dem Erlass von Nantes im Jahr 1685 war die Stadt ein Zufluchtsort für die religiösen Flüchtlinge, die sich Hugenotten nannten. Sie haben im aktuellen Stadtbild deutliche Spuren hinterlassen, die sich von anderen Städten in der Region abheben. Der Hugenottenbrunnen ist das deutlichste Denkmal und steht im Erlanger Zentralpark. Die Wanderung führt Sie natürlich an diesen Orten vorbei und sorgt dafür, dass eine positive Erinnerung an Erlangen lange anhält.
