Der Udawalawe-Nationalpark ist ein Nationalpark, der sich an der Grenze zwischen der Sabaragamuwa und der Uva Provinz im Süden Sri Lankas befindet. Die Region wurde am 30. Juni 1972 zum Nationalpark erklärt, um den dort beheimateten Tierarten, wie Vögeln und Elefanten, Schutz zu bieten.
Der Udawalawe-Nationalpark befindet sich an der Grenze zwischen den sogenannten Feucht- und Trockenzonen. Der mittlere Jahresniederschlag beträgt 1520 mm, der besonders durch den Monsun zwischen Mai und September verursacht wird. Charakteristisch für den Park ist auch die relativ lange Trockenzeit. Die Durchschnittstemperatur beträgt etwa 29 °C.
