Die Fußball-Europameisterschaft der Frauen 2009 war die zehnte Ausspielung der europäischen Kontinentalmeisterschaft im Frauenfußball und fand vom 23. August bis zum 10. September erstmals in Finnland statt. Erstmals nahmen auch zwölf Mannschaften an der Endrunde teil.
Titelverteidiger Deutschland gewann das Finale gegen England mit 6:2 und wurde zum siebten Mal nach 1989, 1991, 1995, 1997, 2001 und 2005 und zum fünften Mal in Folge Europameister. Torschützenkönigin wurde, wie schon 2005, die deutsche Stürmerin Inka Grings.
