In einer Höhe von etwa 720 Metern zwischen bewaldeten Hängen liegt der Ort Ax Les Thermes. An diesem Ort treffen die Flüsse Lauze und Oriege zusammen. Schon bei den Römern war Ax Les Thermes als Kurort bekannt. Heutzutage sind immer noch sechzig verschiedene warme Quellen zu finden, von denen einige Temperaturen von über 75 Grad haben. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu tun und es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Gebiet für sportliche Urlauber, um wunderschöne Bergwanderungen zu unternehmen.
