Der ursprüngliche Bach entspringt unterhalb des Tierparks Parc Animalier des Monts de Guéret. Das Aquädukt, der von Menschenhand veränderte Teil, beginnt seinen Weg mithilfe zweier Steine, die das Wasser des Baches umleiten. Der Kanal verläuft entlang der Straße zwischen Le Mas und Sainte-Feyre. Er setzt seinen Weg bis zur Wiese des Schlosses fort, wo er einen Pfirsichbaum speist, von dem zwei Bewässerungsrinnen abgehen. Durch diese Bewässerung wurde das Feld gedüngt und zu einer Mähwiese. Dieses geniale System der Wasserverteilung und der Wasserversorgung von Dörfern durch Schwerkraft wurde in der gallorömischen Zeit praktiziert, aber es gibt keine schriftlichen Aufzeichnungen, die eine Datierung des Bauwerks ermöglichen. Das Aquädukt ist sehr gut erhalten.
