Levefanum war eine römische Siedlung in der Provinz Niedergermanien. Levefanum war ein Grenzfort entlang der Nordgrenze des Römischen Reiches; dem sogenannten Limes. Castellum Levefanum lag zwischen dem heutigen Rijswijk und Wijk bij Duurstede am linken Ufer des Niederrheins, wo sich dieser jetzt in den Kromme Rijn und die Lek aufteilt. In römischer Zeit verlief der Hauptarm des Rheins über den heutigen Niederrhein, Kromme Rijn und Alten Rhein zur Nordsee.
