Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Club ride: September 10, 2023 - departure at 11 AM

They once again predict southern temperatures just above 30 degrees but that doesn't stop our ride master of the day. Peter has put together a nice ride called De Leemskuil in Lozen. As usual, we depart from the club location and ride towards Berverlo. Of course, we select the small and quiet roads to travel to Leopoldsburg, Hechtel, and it was this last one that brought us to a picnic spot under the trees after 40 km from our departure point. Here we cool off for the first time and enjoy our lunch package with the 44 Vespa’s present.

After a short break of about fifteen minutes, we continued our ride towards Kleine Brogel where the Belgian Air Force Days were taking place and clearly present. At this moment we came across many spotting locations and managed to catch a glimpse of the planes performing various stunts.

After Sint-Hubrechts-Lille, it was time for a break at around 69 kilometers, and we stopped at De Leemskuil near the Church of Bocholt. Here we take the time to cool off and refresh ourselves with a cold pint of non-alcoholic drinks or soda.

After the break, the ride master indicates that we need to prepare for part two which takes us to Grote Brogel, Erpekom, Helchteren, Koersel until our final destination Tessenderlo.

The images and photos prove that we had another warm top day with an incredible atmosphere.
