The walk starts at Visitor Center De Wissen and goes through the beautiful nature reserve Negenoord-Kerkeweerd, up to the observation tower. After a stop at the observation tower, the route follows a path that heads toward the Maas and then continues parallel to the river to the nature reserve Boyen-Veurzen. There, one walks down the path to the height of Boyen, where the route makes a turnaround. Via a connecting path, the walker returns to the starting point, ending at the art installation De Maas Keiker.
