The Kluisbos has been a beautiful place for years, where hikers and joggers can exercise in a quiet and natural environment. The 300-hectare forest is the largest in the Flemish Ardennes and is located at the summit of the 141-meter-high Kluisberg.
The valuable nature, magnificent views, attractions, and recreational opportunities for little nature lovers make it an ideal destination for young and old. In addition to the many kilometers of hiking and biking trails, two routes have now also been marked for runners!
This challenging route starts at the Boswachtershuisje parking area (Fazantendreef 2, Kluisbergen). The blue base loop is 3.8 km. Experienced runners can add a red loop, bringing the total to 5.9 kilometers, but with the necessary elevation gain!
