Recreational bike route through the Ghent Canal Zone from Ghent city center to Zelzate and back. The route goes through almost all the linking areas in the Canal Zone and via both ferry services over the Ghent-Terneuzen canal. Discover the newly created park areas and associated bike paths. Noticed a border marker? In the north, you even cycle briefly through the Netherlands.
A good starting point is the carpool parking at the Voorhaven (Park & Ride Muide: Pauwstraat 9000 Ghent).
