Hankensbüttel - Knesebeck - Wahrenholz - Wesendorf - Langwedel - Hankensbüttel
The Stork Route Hankensbüttel connects eight stork nests along a scenic route. The rearing of the young storks can be observed throughout the year. Each stork nest has a nest board providing information on the breeding success of the stork couple. An information board in Wahrenholz explains the cultural significance of storks.
In Hankensbüttel, the Otter Center and the Isenhagen Monastery invite you to visit. A walk in the Sacred Grove near Wahrenholz is worthwhile, the largest heathland in the region.
