We parked at Parking lot L4 (54666 Irrel - Germany). Your walk then starts at the beautiful bridge that spans the Prüm River. If you start there, the walk is a bit longer in total, about 20 to 22 kilometers. Our walk was during the winter wonderland period.
A walk through forests, along high rock walls and deep gorges. You pass viewpoints over Echternach, mysterious rock formations such as Kuckuckslay, and descend into the impressive Teufelsschlucht.
After the gorge, you continue along whimsical rocks, old millstone springs, and open landscapes with orchards. Along the way, you will see the striking rock formation “Schweineställe”. The route originally comes from Naturwanderpark.eu.
