At the T-junction between Hovborgvej and Galsthovej, turn left and drive over Holme Å. A little further ahead, the road sharply turns right, and shortly after, there is a parking lot on the left-hand side.
The plantation was established by Holger Petersen, who was the idea man and initiator of the Copenhagen Plantations in the 1890s. A completely unique thing you encounter on a walk in the plantation is a series of sandstone sculptures, which are original sculptures from the Børsen in Copenhagen. When Holger Petersen financed the restoration of Børsen in 1915, he received the original sandstones and set them up around the park at Baldersbæk – where they still stand today, as a festive feature in the large plantation. In addition, there is Anders Bundgård's statue of Holger Petersen erected in 1918 – the 4 artificially created lakes, the beautiful high bog, and the meadow along Holme Å.
