Description by the author

The North Pennines is the northern foothill of the Pennines Mountains that extends over much of England and because of its desolate nature it is very nice to cycle there. The oasis of peace that is present combined with the good condition of the road network will ensure that this is an unforgettable ride. Start and end is at the Stanhope station.
