The Zandenbos Visitor Center is located in the Noord-Veluwe region, in the Nunspeet forestry. The Noord-Veluwe is one of the richest areas in our country in terms of nature. It stretches from the Randmeer coast in the west to the IJssel in the east.
The visitor center provides information about this area, allowing visitors to enjoy hiking or biking trips even more, with a concise overview of the formation of the Northwest-Veluwe: the medieval reclamation, the formation of heathlands and sand drift, culture of the wildlands, reforestation, recreation, and dioramas featuring flora and fauna. Especially for preschoolers, there is a gnome trail, a gnome hut with light, sound, and movement, and a gnome slideshow.
