The Bekendelle or Bekkendelle is a nature reserve south of Winterswijk. It is part of the Winterswijk National Landscape designated as such in 2005 and it was designated as a Natura 2000 site in 2010.
Bekendelle is an old deciduous forest that accompanies the stream through which the Boven-Slinge meanders. Here you can find the kingfisher, the great yellow wagtail and the rare middle spotted woodpecker. The deciduous forest is home to alder, ash, elm and oak and bluestar, slender primrose, cuckoo flower and marsh marigold. In the dead meanders of the stream, water violet and brook punge occur. A footpath runs along the stream.
