Zuiderpark is an urban park located in the district of Zuiderpark in The Hague, it is part of the Escamp district. The park was established during the interwar period as a public works project. The design dates back to 1908 and is by architect H.P. Berlage. Construction began in 1923, and the official opening was in 1936.
Until mid-2007, the Zuiderpark Stadium was located in the park, the home of football club ADO Den Haag, which is now housed in a new stadium in Forepark. Additionally, the park features an indoor swimming pool, an open-air theater, a bowling alley, boat rentals, and a restaurant, 'ParkPaviljoen Zuiderpark', opened in 2005. The largest free pop festival in the Netherlands, Parkpop, takes place annually in Zuiderpark. Zuiderpark has multiple entrances, at Vreeswijkstraat, Loevesteinlaan, Melis Stokelaan, and Veluweplein.
