The Vicus of Ockenburgh is a Romanized settlement from the 2nd century AD with a small Roman fort, located in the dunes near the present district of Ockenburg in the far west of The Hague. Ockenburgh is thus the largest Roman site in the municipality of The Hague. The fort was likely built around the year 150 and was abandoned about 30 years later. This is evidenced by the pottery found.
