At the Lijnbaansgracht was the café chantant 't Cloppertjen. In February 1968 the folk song café "'t Cloppertjen" opened. Wim Ibo was one of the first guests. Anne-Marie Brandt was the initiator. But Wim De Craene also performed here. At the age of eighteen, Wim De Craene moved to Amsterdam to live closer to his mentor Ramses Shaffy. Shaffy let him perform in the café chantant 't Cloppertjen and as a token of gratitude and admiration, De Craene named his own son Ramses in 1974.
