A detour through the Malpie Nature Reserve from a small parking lot by the Dommel, where many canoeists can be observed.
The Malpie Nature Reserve is a heath and sand dune area with small bodies of water, bordering the Dommel.
We walked on the last beautiful days of summer 2024.
The plan was to go around the Molenven as part of the route, but due to work, some paths were completely swept off the map by machinery.
In the end, we were impressed by this nature reserve. A lot of variation and beautiful views.
