AzureThis recreational walking route starts at TOP Nieuwpoort and goes through the Liesveld polder. Along the route are the stork village 'Het Liesveld' and Theetuin de winde.
Regional centre Ooievaarsdorp Het Liesvelt
This regional centre has an apiary, farmer's playground, reed swamp, pilot whale island, duck cage and a mill. Changing exhibitions are also organised. Every spring, the nests at the regional centre are occupied by storks.
