The Berkenbeek originates from several ditches between Wuustwezel and Achterbroek. From the national border, it is called Kleine Beek and also collects water from De Matjens. The stream then continues through Achtmaal, Zundert, and finally Klein Zundert, where it flows into the Aa or Weerijs. The length of the stream cannot be precisely calculated because there is no true source point, but it will be approximately 17 km.
