Visé es conocido como un lugar de peregrinación. Aquí se encuentra desde el siglo VIII la iglesia de San Martín y Hadelinus. Las reliquias del Santo Hadelinus están en un hermoso relicario en esta iglesia. El Santo Hadelinus nació alrededor del 617 en Aquitania. Fundó un monasterio en Celles. Durante la Edad Media surgieron numerosas historias milagrosas sobre curaciones y maravillas que realizó el Santo Hadelinus: resucitar a una mujer llamada Guiza, hacer brotar una fuente en Franchimont junto a Philippeville, curar a la esposa gravemente enferma del señor de Béon, curar a una mujer sorda y muda,... son solo algunas de las historias.
Las reliquias de Hadelinus fueron trasladadas el 11 de octubre de 1338 por indicación del príncipe obispo de Lieja a la iglesia de Wezet o Visé.
Un conocido camino de peregrinos lleva de Ámsterdam a Visé. El relicario de Hadelinus es llevado en procesión durante la anual procesión de Hadelinus (tercer domingo de septiembre). Su memoria se celebra el 3 de febrero.
