Floriffoux es una aldea en la orilla izquierda del Sambre, a 10 kilómetros al oeste de la ciudad de Namur. Hoy en día forma parte administrativamente de la comuna de Floreffe, en la provincia de Namur. Era una comuna independiente antes de la fusión de comunas de 1977. Situado en el valle del Sambre, el pueblo presenta una importante diferencia de altitud entre la parte baja y la alta del valle, con un desnivel de 111 metros en una distancia de aproximadamente 1 km en línea recta. Este importante desnivel origina grandes diferencias de temperatura entre la parte alta y la baja del pueblo, especialmente durante algunas noches de invierno.
